His sketching classes focuses on the training and foundation of realism, to capture shape and time. Wei’s color painting course emphasizes divergent thinking, exercising students’ imagination and mastery of colors. Students are encouraged to be creative and explore their strengths and different drawing techniques. |
Teaching Philosophy |
Painting is about the journey and joy of the process. Whether the end result is a figurative object or abstractive form, painting is all about how pencil leaves mark on paper, how water blends with color. The true pleasure is when you enjoy each stroke during the process. |
